I think that this is awesome for Marauder to offer these specific character builds. Here are few thoughts I have on these:
1. Does that "Night Green Beret" look like the head sculpt is now molded in the same flesh tone plastic as the arms as opposed to flesh tone paint?! Great googley moogley I hope so! This will be a game changer for me, because I have steered clear of some of the older head sculpts because the flesh tone is painted and not molded plastic. 2. I think the "NCO" figure greatly illustrates why Marauders needs to either make a tan Agency Ops button-up shirt, or they will need to revamp this figure once the WWII British Officer tan button up shirt becomes available. 3. I think if you simply changed out some of the colors of the accessories their "steady cam gunner" figure, you could have a pretty cool "HAVOC Driver." Jason |

Man, I absolutely LOVE these “generic” geared up guys that somehow look like Joes! It saves money, parts, and the time to figure out recipes!

I probably would have given “Outback” different legs. What they really need to add to their library is a darker brown color that looks like brown.

Just when I'm about to finish up some projects you have to go and do this.

These look great - had I been patient I could have saved a good bit of money and bought these instead of making my own.
Now, please for the same for Owen Reid, Leslie, Paladin and a few other characters from the MTF novel. |

Yes, but it’s really easy compared to Joes. With the couple I’ve split I just put a pair of needle nose pliers in the torso’s bottom cavity and spread them and it popped right apart.

Love the geared up figures. I think though, that the original MGR head would be the right head for steady cam gunner. The large jawed gruff looking guy seems like the steady cam gunner.

Funny, right before this announcement dropped I was thinking the about whether I could get green "Trooper" legs on a Contract-Ops T-shirt torso to kitbash an Outback figure... Quote:
...That said, they've got, like, four different shades of green now, so a darker brown probably wouldn't be unfeasible either. Also, now that Marauders has jumped in on this idea with both feet, what other homages would you guys like to see? I'm kind of surprised that they haven't offered a "Commando" or a "Ranger" yet, but I'd also like to see Flint (they technically did Lady Jaye as part of the Valkyries Kickstarter), Hit-and-Run, Lightfoot (if for nother reason than that he'd be very easy to do with the yellow "Trooper" body, blue "Tactical" helmet and black plate-carrier), Wild Bill, Lift-Ticket, Firefly, Cobra Troopers/Officers, and Hawk as put together by kuh-rupt: |
