Anybody heard when the rest of the new heads will be on the website? The rest of the ones that were shown at marauder madness a couple years ago. I have several customs waiting on them. We got the Mohawk head and the bearded Dutch head and nothing sense.

LOL. No one knows the longing of this better than I, as I still have like 13 completed figures just waiting for the remaining 2020 head sculpts. We got a trickle earlier this year that I thought was going to happen every couple weeks after the first 2 dropped, but it's been like 2 months now, & we didn't even get all of the "MATT" colored heads, which I fully expected to drop already. I thought for sure MGR probably had most of (or all of) the heads received, & they were just piecing them out as to not get too overwhelmed with orders. But maybe they are seriously just waiting for more of the "first" arrivals on everything we have seen for those 2020 heads still, & just haven't actually gotten anymore of them. We've also heard of 2 rounds of "Geared-Up" figures that seem to have gone MIA due to 3D parts not arriving, with no new updates on those for weeks as well. I was going to ask for an update on them in my next order, but maybe Slaymaker can shine some light on the subjects again. |

Heads are being released as we get them from the factory. I haven't heard about the 3D stuff lately...not sure what happened to those. I am sure you all remember a lot of folks use the same factory and that factory is still way behind. The Calvary KS still needs done as does Raginspoon's wave 2 of the Complex. A couple of companies have enlisted the help of a 2nd factory as well. In order to get Nam done - a ton of stuff had to be put on the back burner. A LOT of work is happening behind the scenes and trust me - if there was something to report I would be posting all about it. Right now, there is a big push for JoeFest by many companies so I would be surprised to see / hear much until then, honestly. It is about 8 weeks out right now...

I think it's easy to forget/not appreciate how small these boutique operations are, and--paradoxically--the ones who perform the most reliably get the most scrutiny when circumstances reveal just how small they are. Marauder has so consistently punched above its weight class that we sometimes forget that it's just a handful of dudes barely making a dollar (of anything) off their labor, working their asses off to keep all these plates spinning.

I dunno? I imagine the margins on individual parts sales is pretty astounding actually. Consider the smaller margins built into the geared-up figures they don?t normally keep stocked versus the same kit built via the traditional a-la-carte model they prefer.

I'd be *very* astounded if anybody there thought their profit margin was astounding.
