Ok, my math isn't wrong, unless I'm missing something...the "all-in" package is a horrible deal....sorry to anyone that purchased that...it may be changed, hopefully.
1 figure=$19 3 figure package=$54=$18each+ purchase additional items including stretch goals 9 figure package=$149=$16.56each+ purchase 24 figure package=$399=$16.63each 50+ figure package=$699=$13.98each+free stretch goals+weapons package "ALL IN"=$339=(at the $16.56 each from 9 figure option)=20.5 items=3 original figures+17.5 stretch goals reached... For the same price you could purchase the 9 figure package plus 10.55(10 lower or11 higher) more add-on at $18 each(which would be your choice)so, it would have to unlock 18+ stretch goals to make it a better value than the 9 figure option...is it really going to get to 18 stretch goals to make the "all-in" package worth-while? really why stress over the all in package. obviously MJ gave us a great package to use if and when a lot of stretch goals are unlocked. what a great guy for capping a price that could quickly become so much more … perpective is everything. |

I think one would go with the "All In" package counting on the Kickstarter to far surpass the current list of stretch goals. At the current rate that's entirely possible.

I'm Valhalla, so "all in" doesn't matter to me, I'm going for mad gear...I hope it does great, more stretch goals the better... but 18 stretch goals is far higher than what the original MTF reached. I will probably be buying more add-on. I'll be happy if they unlock 12, that gets the rail gunner. Dont care too much for the white figure and gear, red figure would be nice for a female ninja clan, but not necessary.
i'll be surprised also if the all in package becomes a good deal. I want it too. I wish nothing but success for MJ.. but this is a female line after all. it will be interesting to see if MJ is able to bust through the toy company's "boy's don't buy female action figures" stereotype. |

Damn, why does the stretch goal have to be so high for the steady cam gunner? ($214,000)
Does anyone recall what number MTF reached before the Kickstarter closed?

The initial goal was $29,500.
It was open for 30 days. Unlocked 14 stretch goals. One of them being the weapons and stand, which you auto receive with Valhalla. This is more than just females. This is the gear we didn't get with the 1st run, including a heavily wanted steady cam. Most of us have a whole bunch of male figures...but there is a limited supply of females. This will kick that into overdrive. Hopefully it gains even more stretch goals. Love to see them add a male t-shirt figure with fatigue pants with removeable knee pads/shin guard, a folding trench shovel with tab to plug into backpack, another backpack design, etc...etc...

I doubt MJ would just leave people out to dry on the All-In package. He'd find some way to make it a good value, like tossing in extras of the items that were unlocked until it evens out. Or he'd convert those people to another reward tier entirely and apply the extra money to Add-Ons.
However, I think the way the Mythic Legions handled All-In made WAY more sense. They didn't even offer an All-In until the final weekend of the campaign when they could more reasonably predict what to price it at based on how far the stretch goals had gone. If MJ had done it that way, then the All-In could have been tailor-rpiced doe the success level of the campaign. Offering it from the beginning is a huge hedging of bets and that's why it's priced high and it will take forever for the value to emerge (if it ever does). Debating about getting in on this. I don't have much interest in more military figures, so I'm trying to think of how many customs could come from these figures. I can only think of a few female tech user characters. Marvel has Domino, Silver Sable, and Maria Hill. DC has Ravager. Any others?
