"Right now we are looking at ONLY the skin tones offered in the Kickstarter to be available in the Kickstarter. But if we can manage to make other skin tones of select figures available as an ADDITIONAL item (and NOT as a replacement for a Kickstarter item), we will do it. Figures like the Nurse, Drill Instructor, M60 Gunner, etc (and some of the as of yet unannounced stretch goals). Again, any additional skin tones of Kickstarter figures possibly made available during the Backerkit reward registration process will only be able to ADDED to a package can NOT be "swapped" for a skin tone version released in the Kickstarter." FWIW, the Kicktraq high end (which in my experience has been a reasonably decent predictor of where these things wind up once the last-three-days-surge is accounted for) is around the $400K mark. Even with this being so front-loaded, I expect that there's going to be a good surge because a lot of people tend to notice Kickstarters close to their end date that are over-funded and jump on board.
With luck the VC female should be hit tomorrow. |

So, for example, I went ALL-IN for like $412. So, at the end of the KS with the Backer Kit, if (for example) they offer the M60 Gunner in a light skin tone, if I want to purchase that along with my KS pledge, I would have pay an additional $25 (or whatever the fee will be). I'll just throw this out there, that sometimes there is an advantage to purchasing something through the Backer Kit instead of just waiting until it hits the store -- as was the case with the Chimera-Ops. The Chimera-Ops in the Backer Kit came with cloth legs and cloth arms. The Chimera-Ops cloth legs by themselves weren't offerred in the store for quite some time and it was pretty hit or miss. So, the benefit, to me, was getting the actual Chimera-Ops build I wanted (I hate those armored legs) and not having to find the legs on the store some time later. Jason |

I'd still like to see Marine Force Recon or a Marine Sniper. As for offering additional skin tones through the backer kit, I'm definitely on board with that. I just hope they announce that this will happen officially before the kickstarter ends so we can plan accordingly.

Yes. The money pledged during the KS gets deducted as that fund and you make your figure choices based on your KS pledge in the Backer Kit, but then you can ADD items not available in the KS but now available in the Backer Kit and then pay for those extra items.
