Some people are already talking negative about the Viper hands. Take a good look at his hands and notice how his wrists are turned out ward. Now take your own arms and hands and act like you are holding a rifle in firing position. Notice how your wrist now turns out ward. So what I am saying now is that the Viper might be the first figure that can hold a gun and the proper firring position. With the sights on the gun right in front of his eyes and not his chest!

There was something bothering me about the V.4 SE and I just figured out what it is: his trench knives are up-side down. The RAH SE's trench knives were molded handle down, blade up, not handle-up, blade down. Go to yojoedotcom to understand what I mean. I don't believe the design team would miss this, so I assume this means those knives are removable and can be attached as seen in the picture, or the original RAH way.

OMG I'm gone for 4 hrs and I miss out on all the fun! Love the whole wave, no complaints from me. I'm just glad it was SE v.3(last SE I owned) and not 4. It looks like his knives on his chest are removable? Hiss driver has to be my favorite out of the group. Do I dare say he looks 10x better then the vintage!?
It sucks Major Bluud didn't show up but I rather have him perfected then just some parts slap together. Last edited by DaViper; 01-17-2008 at 11:58 PM.. |

Ok guess i'll chime in with my opinions.. loved the previous lines and was kinda not digging what i saw at 1st...
Duke : The whole pose reminds me of Superman II when Superman delivered the flag back to the white house. Ehh ~ He looks good. Wild Bill : Those holsters don't look like they hold the revolvers very well, looks OK to me. Snake Eyes: : Fan of v1 and v2, guess i'm old school.. that's who i remember as a kid. I hope those blades come off his chest. Spirit : His head looks to blocky, but he might look better up close. Hiss Driver : Dunno, can't compare to the original.. looks OK to me. Viper : Nice, very nice.. messed up hand but i agree it looks like he'll be able to hold his rifle better at a shooting angle, wish they posed him that way. Now, this coming form a guy who only had joes from 87-89 so i never really had any of the 1st series joes but from what i remember playing with them and what we have up to date, i'm ok with it. Sparking my interests and opening doors i never had the opportunity to go through (reading the comics, collecting figures, actually playing with the figures and appreciating them)... I'm hooked, gonna collect them all. |

I haven't read the whole thread so I don't know if someone's already said this, but the HISS Driver torso sure looks like it'll be reused for Scrap Iron!

I agree with you ESG! I like Snake eyes as a commando not a ninja. Stupid big swords across his chest. Ill pass on that one for sure. Enough of him already!
I am hoping that the Spirit WILL look better in hand. I think it should anyways. |

Hats off to hasbro's design team! These figures just keep getting better, they're dead on target with what us the fans have waited for. Now if only we get updated vehicles. Thank you hasbro, your stock will rise this quarter!
