I have read on other joe boards that the new Target hiss is not retooled to fit 25th figures. Is this for real or does someone just not know what they are talking about. Why purchase the hiss or the new awe striker if the new crankcase or ripit won't fit in them. anyone know the answer to this?

Maybe Ripit is an ex-jockey with shorter legs. Hopefully the cockpit will be resized.. but don't you think they might have pushed to package a HISS driver with it if they retooled it?
I believe the 25A figures can fit in the AWE, so that one may not be an issue. |

It's also rumored that the HISS will be retooled
At Joe con, Hasbro said they believed that the re-issued vehicles may need some slight retooling for 25th figures. They only mentioned the AWE-Striker but that doesn't mean that they haven't done anything to the HISS. I took a Vintage HISS and stuck an Officer in it a while back. The only fitting issues he had was where his pants flare out of the boots are a little big and you'll have to push down fairly hard, the feet are slightly long as well. Here's pictures: Also, who's to say that the figure that comes with the HISS isn't supposed to go into the gunner's cockpit. Maybe the single carded HISS Driver has thinner legs to allow him to sit into the HISS perfectly |

The same things were said here. I think it was retooled somewhat to accomodate the 25th figures. It would be pretty stupid on Hasbro's part not too.

Oh I'm betting the Cobra "driver" won't fit into this HISS' cockpit easily.
It's POTF2 all over again :p

I decied to take some pictures of different 25th figures in a vintage Hiss Tank, here's what we have:
(I appologize for the blurry pics, I need a better camera) Destro will not fit, but he should be in the gunner's/commander's position anyway Storm Shadow fits pretty well, lots of room around his legs, but like all 25th figures the legs are too long, so they go all the way to the front. Which means they have to sit up on top of the clips for the bodies to attach together Cobra Soldier fits a little tight like I said the Officer does, biggest problem being the pants flare not having enough room |

And to remind us all, here's how the vintage HISS Driver fits in the HISS:
As you can see here, the legs are much shorter and do not sit on top of the body clips However, this guy has almost no head room at all! So in summation The 25th figures don't fit into an non re-tooled HISS exactly like the originals, however, there are some figures that will fit in the driver's seat and still look good. |

I didn't think of it that way. Probably right young Jedi.
