Between this and the Con set reveals so far, it seems like an off-year for the Club for me. I do like the Arctic Mindbender, although he seems more like the kind of figure that would be in an FSS than the membership incentive. Dr. Isotope is kinda cool, too, although I'm not a 12" Joe figure collector. I really hope FSS4 is full of amazing.
I don't think I'll be too eager to pay $40+ (plus the overpriced shipping) for the Wave Crusher and Sub-Viper. If they linger around at the Club shop and go down to around $25, maybe I'll pick one up. |

Sure - when there's a possibility of reward. ;)
In all seriousness, I don't see this being much of a seller. Do you?

I also really like the color scheme they used on the "Wave Crusher." Although it's a homage to the "Collectors Edition" release, the colorscheme reminds me a whole lot of the 2003 Con offerings. Either way though, the reuse of the SHARC, plus a "kitbash", are sadly a "no go" for me. Perhaps I'll change my mind on the Marissa and Afterburner set and go after that one instead. |

That is the bad thing about this. I want to see the club do well with their vehicle offerings, so that we get more. They can do a lot of stuff that Hasbro can't put out at retail. (Like a Tiger Force Vamp) But the Wave Crusher is not going to sell well. If Sub-Viper had turned out better it might of had a chance.

I had a bad dream last night that the Iron Anvil head was the same as the Sub-vipers head. Real bad dream. I like that Sub-Viper head but hope its not true

LOL, if anything, the Iron Anvils look like they'd use Ozone and Flint's helmet from last year's set.

If they had just done this up in Tiger Force colours with, I don't know... Wetsuit or someone, this would have done just fine, especially given this year's set theme. :(
I would have bought one, no doubt about it. And the 2011 Wetsuit would look friggin' awesome in TF colours, too.
