I think that this needs a slightly more balanced view from both sides of the table (sorry , I'm probably going to come over all adult here lol) I understand what Don is trying to do , as a retailer first and foremost (I have bought from Guru Planet many times in the past) he is trying to bring a completely original concept into being without the big budget backing that the likes of the club has ,for example , for that alone I salute him. on the flipside , the design and construction of modern figures (gi joe, marauders ,boss fight) has surpassed that of Don's , and with the parts not being interchangeable with current figures peoples interest is lukewarm at best. I hope Don is successful in achieving his target and wish him all the best , these particular figures are not for me , but maybe if this campaign does not succeed , maybe a joint effort with someone else (I believe there was a proposed female figure kickstarter by legion ?) might be a worthwhile venture , utilising Don's designs but with Legion's build/articulation or something similar , I understand Boss fight would be ideal but the costs involved might be too high, either way I'm sure that Don will be taking notes from the feedback here and that our community here won't be too harsh on a guy just trying to make his ideas come to life .

personally i dont have a use for these figures. they dont fit the modern or the classic o ring look. the design sculpt is not flattering in any way, nor does it portray a realistic, in shape military lady. its also unrealistic to think lady troopers are going into battle in what i assume are yoga pants. one complaint parents groups have about female toys is their portrayal of unrealistic body types and stereotypes. these do nothing to fill any sort of void except further the stereotype that toy collectors are misogynistic.
i personally have wanted a well designed female figure for years. the marvel line is pretty terrible and the best ones joe has produced is the retaliation lady jaye/renegades scarlet.
