The idea is good. The execution is awful.
If Hasbro were to release a figure like this it would kill G.I. Joe. People, rightly so, would be demanding that the figures be taken off the shelves of whatever store dared to sell them. These figures are just insulting. |

Even if the figures weren't lackluster, the fact that there doesn't seem to be any options between "single figures at $25 a pop" and "ARMY OF 300!" is kind of a deal-breaker in and of itself.

I would consider supporting them if the following changes were made:
ankle swivels double jointed knees And kill the ridiculous chest size no open to the navel outfits more realistic, (as far as Joe goes), uniforms I like where the 1st sample, the blonde in dark green, is going. Refine the design and you have something. But Annika, the sub troopers, and the operator have got to go. Sorry for the harshness, but I would like to see this one succeed, especially if the sculpts can be refined closer to 2010-14 designs than the 2000 design they look like now. |

Im pretty sure i got Annika at joe con two years ago for $10. Early rendition i suppose. Shes a leaner with a blah face. Horrid Glasses! I would be down if it was reworked like doawork mentioned. And it seems you're either in for $50, $200, or 4400! Learn from the Bossfighters and Gunrunners

Can you imagine what your wife/GF/SO would say if this came in the mail? That would be the end of my collecting days. Nice idea on making female troopers, but COME ON MAN!!!

Unless the pictures shown are just to give you an idea, there isn't anything new except the soft goods. I popped the heads off of the few I ordered a few years back and threw away the ridiculous bodies. The weapons were flimsy casts, as well.

Considering I was one of those critical of using the Renegades Scarlett torso for the upcomming FSS 3.0 Bombstrike as being not sufficiently ample, I'll say that these figures look tacky.
So I'm with Dolimite on this one... The legs look like they just reworked the 25th Scarlett legs and the headsculpt of that trooper looks just bad.

I have a handful of the original Annika figures and while I *want* to like them, the were not the best quality when I compared to my Joes. As a collector of female action figures, the concept was there and great but the final product was a miss.
The paint application alone was a mess and the articulation on the 1.0 bodies was horrible. This was fixed a lot in the 2.0 bodies and it does seem that this is once again improved in the newer bodies listed. Personally, I think a reworking of the heads is a must. I love the idea of them being quite customizable (i also have a batch of heads, glasses, hats etc that I bought too) but there is no real identifying character to each one. When you think of the quality of kickstarter projects that have come out and been successfully funded, this is on the lower end - sorry to say. I think there needs to be a stronger presence of female action figures in the 3.75" scale that can work with the Joe line, though is this the best that's on offer?

Their chests look like marbles were glued on.
