As you say, Shortstop and Redwing II are slotted in to the Wave 12 checklist. They're also featured on the back of the box for General Brown, as seen in MacDowin great preview/review (with Redwing II now called Blackrope). Bill did say they would go on sale later this year, so maybe later is soon. At JoeFest 2023 in Jun and then at PowerCon 2023 in Aug, the Fresh Monkey booth had a number of unreleased figures in the plastic flesh: Commander Coco (the monkey head on a white Space Force body), a tranparent green Darkon-like space dude (he and another green dude in a bubble-helmet Singularity space suit are in the Character Image Gallery on the website), some metallic-finished red and silver Space Troopers. Some of these Space Force figures go back to artwork shown at JoeFest 2022 in Jun 2022, with the red Space Trooper already among the 40th Anniversary Wave paint samples in Dec 2022). Late last year, Bill confirmed that Space Force was still planned to be among the big pushes in the 2024 preorders. But as we know, Bill is sitting on a mountain of unrealized figure ideas, and any time he goes back to the drawing board, you never know which ones he will come back with next. These seem like the most tangible contenders, but it's also a kind of clean slate for preorders. |

While the existing tooling still has a lot of potential, I remain greedy for new tooling, especially different body sizes and types. I'll admit to being a bit disappointed that this last round seemed to suggest some bulkier frames might be represented (Harley, Ivan), but the production versions appear to utilize the same old parts. They still look great, and I'll be happy to have them, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed this next batch will expand the line a bit beyond variations of head, color-schemes, parts configuration, and accessories.

Which means this guy:
https://www.freshmonkeyfiction.com/e...4-202c9d2f326e Is that to be a unique headsculpt, or a new goggles piece added to a current one? All these weird bastards are the ones I like this line for. |

What size are the stand pegs/sockets on this line? The pegs/sockets are a bit smaller than "modern" 2.5mm pegs (maybe about 2.4mm?); they also happen to fit Mattel's Jurassic Park figures. Some of the older EF figures also appear to have sockets even smaller than that, but I'm not sure if that's intentional or factory error (they will fit the same pegs, but more tightly). Some of the newer figures have a larger socket that fits the ~3mm pegs used by Jazwares/Lanard/JoyToy, etc. and possibly those magnets used by Captain Action.
Also, I've been meaning to ask, but what exactly are these items included with the ASPS Warhead? They look like forearm or elbow guards, but I'm not sure of the proper orientation for them.

Start of the toy show season for Fresh Monkey with a heads-up to anyone in southern California. Not sure what these show exclusive card backs are for (something for the artist to have on hand to sign I guess maybe), but you can see them on Fresh Monkey's IG post:
