To be fair, it's shaping up to be a pretty decent result in the end.

A 7-figure wave (assuming Nemesis II is still in the mix) is pushing the high end of wave counts (only W6's 8 figures has been bigger).

Add in the 4 extra figures and a total of 10-11 more figures moving into production seems pretty good around a wave.

And we could be as high as 12-15 depending what's happening in these last couple of days.

Eagle Force 40th Anniversary Update: We just got our 1st batch of tooling sample in, as I showed in the video last week. Lots to go through and adjust but the plan is to start delivering these figure next summer in smaller batches as soon as the factory can run them. We also updated some parts on our standard body to include better proportioned upper arms and thigh cuts.
Future assortments. Dont expect to see any additional Eagle Force offering till Joe Fest next summer. We want to get through our current offering before we offer any new figures. I will say the next offering will include Space Force and Monster Force, along with some female figures we showed at Joe Fest last year. Also moving forward will not be offering any new figures without offering up bios for the characters and team. We have started to do more work in that space.. see The Drawn Word's new Eagle Force Intel book.. expect more of this to come.

I hope the thigh cuts, and upper arm mods do not change the overall look of the figure.

If those changes made them look like the 4" Walmart Retro CT, I'd cancel my orders in a heartbeat. Hopefully, they will not change.

Well, that explains why I got the email but no pile of loot droppings. Upsetting though I have 2000 in preorders with them and jumped at this EF preorder immediately minute 1 so I should have been first in line!

So are they going to actually stop preorders soon? I thought BBTS would have just left the preorder option open at least until the max limit that is getting produced is reached. All of the other waves are still available for preorder even though production has started or is nearing the end of production.

Thigh swivels sounds promising. What aspect of the upper arms' proportions are they tweaking? I didn't really notice anything "off" about them originally.

It's not as noticeable when the figures have a vest on.

Imho, bulbous is *good* as it moves the point of rotation away from the torso so the arm can actually move around well. I'm sick of figures being unable to hang their arms down straight, especially military figures that can't stand at Attention.

Agreed, and I think most were designed to have a vest or some sort of web gear.
