Assuming this is an actual full fledged line (Micro Machines appeared on packaging for the Titanium series some years ago), I hold some hope it would mean REAL MM Joe stuff.
In the short term, I'd agree that it is likely an initiative part of the big Episode 7 push next year. But Hasbro also has the Star Trek license as well, and with Transformers has established connections with nearly all the major car manufacturers. So I think a full fledged Micro Machines relaunch isn't too far fetched.

Cool, I hope they bring back Action Fleet.
But I think that was just Galoob ingenuity, & not necessarily linked to Micro Machines. |

I'm also guessing they picked it up for Star Wars. Should be lots of vehicles in the new film so between new film, classic, Clone Wars, and everywhere else they could pick up vehicles they could run Micro Machines on Star Wars alone for a while.
It would be really cool though they covered all their brands in Micro Machines format. Some tiny Joe and Cobra vehicles for the times you don't have a load of display space. |

Might be a good excuse for Hasbro to trot out that old Kenner idea, Megaforce. Whenever I imagine a MM scaled GI Joe Command center with a VAMP, Mobat, & Dragonfly, those old Megaforce toys creep in & take over.

Highly generic, the only thing that made them Joe was the logo on the packaging. Still bought everyone I could find though.
