lol I was gonna ask the same thing. Yeah, I think they mean the shin/calf part of the boot. It's not something that bothers me personally, but I get that it looks odd if you remove the shin armor and you got these regular boots with metal feet.

I mean more of a full piece like the series 1 leg armor or as a fully sculpted lower leg piece


Its a balance nitpick with me, the upper body is so heavily armored then you just have the shinguards and thigh plates.

I actually think the female knight and some guy's custom balances the armor a bit better

Anyone ones why Boss Fight takes immediate payment for pre-order items...latter implies of course they're not scheduled to ship anytime soon. I've pre-ordered before but never had to actually pay for something I won't see for months to come.

Any info would be much appreciated!

That's how they've always done it. That money is paying for their order fulfillment from the factory, more or less.

No, I'd say most toy companies require payment up front, and very few have no money down pre-orders. The manufacturers seem to require up front payment immediately much more often. BossFight, Four Horsemen, Super7, Coffin Comics/Executive Replicas/Loose Collector, Hasbro Pulse, etc... all require payment up front. Stores like BBTS and ShowZ seem to have far more flexibility in having no payment or small deposits on pre-orders.

Thanks Bujo. This is my first pre-order with BossFight so now I know but it'd have been helpful to know their policy stated somewhere and that goes for all companies accepting pre-orders. I've pre-ordered figures through BBTS, Amazon, Hasbro Pulse and Target and never was I asked for payment up front. So this naturally comes as a surprise. Thanks for the input though.
