I've never taken the legs off of a BFS figure before. Is it easy to heat up the figure and then pop the legs off of the hip bars? Can you remove the lower knee peg by heating and then popping the smaller peg head off the leg? Just want some insight before I try it out.
Thanks.

Are the BFS heads fully compatible with the other main 1:18 companies? Any major mods needed or snaps right on? Mainly concerning Hasbro, CFT, MTF and Zica/FMF.

Hopefully somebody has some better info/advice for you, but I’ll share my limited experience. I tried to remove the leg, was super hard to get loose and as I pulled it, the plastic t bar broke. I told them and they sent me a new pair of legs. When trying to put legs back together had trouble getting the gap to close. Don’t think it ever closed all the way. As for the knees I haven’t tried to take them apart but I had one that came new with the leg pin not attached to one side of the leg. I tried to heat it up and get it to attach and it just didn’t want to do it. Still not attached I think.

On the heads, I haven’t used boss fight heads on other projects, but they use the barbell system. I have found that heads across lines often require tightening up with hot glue or loosing up with the dremmel.

Thanks. With the knees, they work just like Marauder knees. Just heat the knees up and pop the knee pin out. The arms are also a boil & pop at the shoulders. BFS uses peg insert like the new retro Stalker. In my experience, BFS hand pegs are smaller than Marauder/GIJoe, but with using the hot glue method, you can make them work with other lines. Jason |

The legs are NOT a simply heat/boil and pop like Marauder and retro GIJoe Stalker. BFS legs have an inner-thigh piece that locks the leg onto the hip peg. So you have to heat the inner thigh and then pry that little inner-thigh piece up and out.

Looks like there are 1370 packs in stock right now. $10 for 3 heads is pretty good I think.
