If the o-ring breaks, where would we get a replacement? A fan belt from an 82 Chevy?

I've been spoiled by modern era scuplting. I couldn't see myself interested in any before the 1983 series two lineup (Airborne, Snow Job, Tripwire). Even then, that would just be to see how they turn out. For me to actually bother buying one, it would have to be a character like Tundra Stalker or Rock n' Roll v2 (MAYBE). I doubt they'll get that far in the lineup to get to them. The ARAH proportions come across as chunky now that I've experienced ME Joes.
As basic as the ARAH O13 look at 3.75", they will look more plain at 12". If they pack them like the originals, you'll have to wait until they start doing the 1992 figures before they start including stands. I'm guessing the extra articulation will make them harder to keep standing than the 5 POA Star Wars figures. TL;DR No.

I might buy one for display purposes, hang it on the wall like a novelty, but which one?
I was interested in the Star Wars line at one point, until i saw the Wampa was price prohibitive.

At $75 to $90 a piece, I might get a couple, but can't see getting the whole line.

Yes. Imagine Storm Shadow, Firefly and 85' Snake Eyes at this scale. The nostalgia alone would make me feel like a kid again

I'll buy my favorites --- Snake Eyes, Breaker, Stalker. If they make the '84 ones I'll get firefly, roadblock and ripcord.

If I had the kind of money and space to blow on 12" figures, I'd just buy Sideshow.

Had to say no, I am not really that fond of the O-ring designs anymore, and I would rather put my money toward Sideshow's offerings now that I've gotten one in hand than oversized O-ring figures. There are a few that I would pick up, but I am pretty sure they would never get far enough into the line for them to happen (since the 25th/Poc/30th didn't hit quite a few of them).

Cool as hell but entirely too expensive based on the Star Wars prices.

It's a neat idea- especially if the figures had the same articulation as the original. If the price is similar to the Star Wars jumbos I would not buy any though. If the price was lower I might buy the original 13 but, not the entire line and I am not sure I have space for 13. Seeing actual the toys in hand can be a swaying factor either way as well.
