I think so. He's on the TF line, last I heard.

Well, whatever the details were, I can't believe they fucking delivered the final product like that. I'm not exactly doubting you, but it still doesn't make sense.
But I have never seen that head before by BFS until it was posted on HT the other day, and I hadn't heard that they actually sent a head over. It wasn't in any of their mockups, that was a Low-Light head painted white as a stand-in. How could the factory ACTUALLY think that they'd want them to take the effort to retool the fucking vintage one, if they were given a new one that looked good? Or at what point did the Club get a prototype? They sure as hell didn't get an entire shipment of everything produced without seeing a proof, that's just not how things work. Does that make ANY sense to you? Either the Club or the factory should have eaten the cost and made it right if they indeed fucked up THAT badly. How many other things are preordered (which is what the "Yearly membership" is, it's a preorder for the figure run, no matter how many people turn red in the face arguing that the figure is "free") and they just say "aw fuck it, it ain't right, but here you go!" I know that if I deliver a product to a client, I have to fix it until it's right, whether they pay for it or not, or else I'm fired. The same with any vendors I've worked with. It's about as unprofessional production work as I've seen. |

I know there is talk here of fans wanting BFS to take over the Joe line. IMO, it doesn't need to happen. They've already given us some great new figures and I hope they just keep collaborating with the club.
Also, if you don't know, BFS is trying to make their own toy line. I'd rather them make their own 4" action figure line (like Ori Toys) then just take over Joe. Someone asked if Oril toys had one figure and that there is only one in the line. There are two released currently and they've already made other figures that will be released later on. Like it or not, at least it gives us something else to purchase or add to our 1/18th collecting. I'm always buying 4" figures from video game lines and other Hasbro lines to mix in with my Joes, so the more the merrier! |

What other figure has Oritoy produced besides the Sol Commander? Do you have a link?

Sorry, I was mistaken...I thought a variation of the SOL Commander came w/ the Speeder MKII, but I was mistaken. They do have pics of 3 different characters on their website. Acidrainblogspot.com shows 4 different figures.

It looks like it's the same body. Just heads/webgear/paint apps are different.
That's a big way to save a ton of money. I'd be interested in how many figures/vehicles Ori Toys is producing for this line.

Cool. I've been looking at their stuff. I've got an individual figure and the dio thing preordered. I wouldn't mind having the vehicles, but I just can't justify the money for them ATM.

Boss fight is working on a Greek Mythology line!!! I can't wait for that. They also are going to be doing a fantasy and space line, so I hope they come out with some awesome accessories to use with the Joes! |

I love the look of BFS' stuff. I hope they do some military-themed stuff.
