The Destro Book is a thousand times better then that stupid Pimp Daddy Destro. The CC at the podium was a cool figure, but PDD? I know it's worth money but I don't even want one. It's stupid.
At least the Destro Book ties into the movie and gives 2 figures and history of Destro.

So no pics of the Destro figs? I hope it's not a suited version like in the movie prequel comic ocver or the promo pics. I want multiples of those for customs.
Times like this I wish I still lived in HK. I could go to TRU the week after the show and just buy this and all the SDCC exclusives right off the shelf. |

I would really like the Destro set. If anyone is going and either doesn't want this or is able to pick up an extra, PM me, I would really appreciate the help!!

Come on guys, Hasbro always shows off/pimps upcoming lines at SDCC if they have the chance. I'm not trying to be mean, but anyone thinking we might get a 25A/Modern Era exclusive at this year's SDCC really was kinda deluding themselves. SDCC is a big advertisement...of course they're going to advertise the product they're "pushing" this year. Beyond that, can you imagine the uproar if they made "Modern Era Cover Girl" as a SDCC exclusive? Making a figure that's actually in moderate-to-heavy demand and not available at retail price anywhere else (or barely available anywhere else at retail price) is a sure-fire way to upset a whole lotta fandom. That's why you don't often see completely new-sculpts as these kinds of exclusives...if they're not "niche" figures, then a whole lotta collectors are either going to be left out to dry or have to pay ridiculous prices on the secondary market for a character (almost) everyone wants. |

Figures. This will be my first SDCC and it has lame ass figures. Looks like I'll be checking the Mattell booth. I was hoping for something cool but I should have suspected ROC stuff.

Oh man, so glad they're not doing 25th. I Can't wait to get my hands on these. Love the packaging they did for both sets.
