Atleast we can't see CC's boxers lol
I would be interested in this, only because it's GIJoe. but I do not own a cell phone or an Ipad. I'm probably the one guy still keeping pay phones in service. Now if they would make a computer game or an xbox 360 game I'd be all over it. Granted I am not familer with these kinds of games so maybe that company is a pretty big name in those circles but why does it seem like Hasbro always hires some no name, no body company to make thier games. They've got billions, freaking hire EA to make a GIJoe Battlefield game or whoever owns Call of Duty now (seems like it's bought and sold every year). Call of Cobra ? Or the fine folks that make the Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell games. Every time I play a Rainbow Six game I have to make my character look as much like a Joe as I can. Generally ends up looking like a Shockwave knockoff in Rainbow Six though lol. |

Probably because those are the only ones that are interested in making a G.I. Joe game.

I have been playing their transformers legends game for the last few weeks. If the GI Joe game is anything like it I'll certainly play.

I'll probably take the same position as I have with Transformers Legends: play it free, and only pay a bit during those few events that grab my interest (if they ever do an event where the reward is Tiger Force cards, I'll probably drop some serious cash). I do wonder how vehicles will be integrated perhaps as "stat boosters" which can be eliminated by anti-vehicle guys?

Never talk about a man's pants when he's got a gun pointing at you. I love the art on those cards.

I'm not typically a fan of CCG types of games, but I'll give it a try. Now if they did a Joe version of a strategic squad combat game like XCom, I'd give them at least one of my kidneys.

Kotaku has some information on the game, including a descriptor of its gameplay style (closer to Blood Brothers than Transformers Legends), and some usual fluff that makes me think the entire piece is paid for:
G.I. Joe Battleground Prepares To Deploy Ultimate Fan Service Indicates a desire to get Sgt. Slaughter and The Fridge into the game, if licensing can be worked out.

Same here. I've greatly enjoyed the Transformers game for what it is, and have actually managed to get a LOT out of it at the free level (helps I have dialysis 3 days a week and the game is a great time killer), though paying a bit during events helps as well.

Hopefully they can give it enough of a twist so its not exactly like Legends but still engaging enough to hook me. |

I get what you are saying, my first thought was they looked like blue sweat pants. I didn't immediately think it was some sort of ghetto thing. To me they didn't look like the usual business type slacks he wears, bagginess aside.

I never played a card game like TFL before, and now I love that Damn game. It's awesome. If this is anything close to that, and its ARAH, HELL yes...I'm there, already signed up.
I'm already hoping for a rare elite snake eyes paired with snake eye's sword. Hopefully its just like that..get the character card, get the weapon card for bonuses...roadblock's .50 cal...Hawk's 1911...Flash's Laser..Cobra Commanders hair dryer.. This could be so epic my fingers are getting hard thinking about the possibilities..
