Its too bad these are only at DG. If they were available here I'd be buying them like crazy. Instead we just have the movie trooper which is nowhere near as good.

Wonderful. Took over a year to find a single trooper from the first wave. Now I have to do it all over again...

Hasbro's sales might increase if they stopped making their product so hard to acquire...all this exclusive website stuff and exclusive store stuff, and convention crap you have to fly across the country for, put up with smelly weird mofos, and then still pay 600% more than the single carded figure or repainted vehicle is actually worth...
...here's an idea...release a regular wave and put it in all the stores at the same time...not just Toys R Us, not just DG, not just ROSS, not just Target...Then maybe people like me who aren't made of money can still collect something they enjoy too...I don't have the cash to spend on $5 a gallon for gas to hunt this crap all over my town and surrounding area...especially since every time I do go out looking, I find dick...thanks hasbro, you assholes should buy stock in gasoline companies... The retailers control what and when things get put on the shelves. And Ross is a discount retailer. Things go there, not from Hasbro, but from Target/Wal-Mart/TRU when they don't sell.

I'm really starting to wonder...perhaps if the regular waves Hasbro released weren't all filler cards like Duke, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander, or worse Arctic Destro they might sell more figures...I know I personally have more of those guys than I even need...

The core character concept is what marketing has determined works, and it works for other lines (Star Wars, Transformers, Power Rangers, TMNT) and it tends to work for Joe as well. No one knew Arctic Destro would be a peg warmer when it was created. If they did, it never would have been made. It's all a crap shoot over what will be a seller and what won't. People keep saying they've had enough SE, but they keep buying him and Hasbro will keep making him.

Is this guy the same base colour as the PoC/ 30th Trooper? He seems to be a bit brighter blue, though it could just be the photos.
If he's the same then I'll be on the lookout for some. If he's different then I'm not interested. At least the blue boots and accents I can understand and fix... |

A few things I'll have to fix with the figure and might change out the web gear, but yes for a nice figure and yes for Dollar General figure having a good price on it.
