I think he is the worst looking Joe in the whole set. I wish they would've just put NF Crazy Legs in the box-set instead, but I know they had another plan for him that didn't pan out.

Thats what I think. He is close enough to Sneak Peek, that I'm using him as my Night Force Sneak Peek figure. I just wish I could figure out how to take that parachute rig off of him. I found the one place where it disconnects, but I can't get it off for some reason.

I disagree. You need to look past the colors that the club chose. They were intending an homage to a cancelled 1995 repaint of the original HnR as a driver. I'd gamble that the para-rig might have been a nod to the ARAH Target hit & Run. A case perhaps of too many influences ruining the final look.
I also like the fact that he's ugly. The world is not peopled with beauties. The head is based on the one shown at Joe Con last year, as is the whole build (except for the torso) which everyone fawned over, so I am having a hard time understanding the negative comments. I think mainly it is the color palette, and painted hair that are turning people off whether they realize it or not. A quick change that no-one has seemed to note on Hit & Run as well: The original images had green knees, then the group shot had black painted knees, and then I saw a final image somewhere showing that he was supposed to have actually had black kneepads (I think it was one of the photo posters shown at Con). I have a much harder time accepting the 25th COBRA soldier torso on Spearhead, the poor leg build on Mortal (seriously, one leg is 1/8th inch shorter than the other), the choice of the crappy 25th harness for gear, and the scrawny legs (from the knee down) on Letal/Frag Vipers (not to mention the unpainted crossbow rig). I understand that the Letal/Frag choice was made because it was an un-released mold they were offered, but that doesn't excuse the shortcomings. As a total aside, my bagged Mortal had a silver painted copy of the original 25th SE head on it, while my boxed set has the POC SE head that most appear to have gotten. Anyone else have this odditiy? Open the harness at the closure, remove the head, and the upper part will slip off. Then you have to slip it down the legs.

I'm trying to see past the colors, but like others, I'm just not digging the head. So, I sat back and thought, "Ok, I'll just swap out the head for RoC Rollbar, that way he has the same head as AoCI Hit & Run." So, then I checked out Rollbar since he came out long after I initially stopped collecting and found this.

I think he looks bad-ass. I love the mature looking head sculpts. He does, however look quite different from the original. My vintage H&R was always on the team when playing as a kid, so i do wish his uniform was a closer match, but i'm surprised to see all the complaints about the head.

Someone should put the 30th Life-Line head on this figure to make black/green update of Life-Line.
Also, for the Club to use the concept Life-Line figure over the Vault Hit & Run, this leaves me to beleive that Hasbro is going to release the Vault Hit & Run figure to us in some way. I can't wait!

Aside from the torso, NF Hit & Run is the same as Vault Hit & Run.
