... but attempting to force-feed what i believe are subpar figures and vehicles and tossing a couple of quality 7-packs out to placate the hardcore collector fans before dropping the classic line for the timebeing i find to be borderline insulting.
If they release figures that say MODERN era toys, you all complaint that they don't look like the old ones. And suck. If they release the old versions, you all complaint that they look corny or ridiculous like they used to. And is crap. If you all get some sneak peeks of what's coming, in unfinished state, you complaint that sucks, and don't want it. And is a crap that sucks. If they take out the sneak peeks, you complaint why they take them out, why can't you look. And THEY suck. If they release a few better sneak peeks of just a few figures, you complain that they're...well, too few. And is crap, and THEY suck because they make crap. If they show you all on a straight manner, then you all complaint that that's too much crap. And crap that sucks, and THEY suck because they make crap that sucks crap. If they say that the line is ON HOLD ti'll the movie release, you all complaint that "why the 25th line is out?. Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap! suck suck suck!" If they release a BIG bunch of figures (14 no less, that's the whole of figures you'll probably get in these few months that have passed), all new, all requested, all popular...then you complaint because they're "trying to conform you"???. Oh, finally a new one: "borderline insulting". You forgot about...crap and suck. |

The simple fact is you can't please everyone! I've been in both the "pleased" and "pissed" categories before. It's just weird being in both at the same time!

kind of makes me want to go dig up old posts about Transformers when the movie/movie toys came out. Side note, I think it is kind of strange how when people got their first look at the movie transfomers more hated them than liked them. Now that we are getting the first looks at this next movie more people are excited than not. I think this might be a little telling.
The second movie figures may look worse than the first movie, honestly. I don't think the movie designs work well in motion when you have multiple robots on-screen at the same time... with Bay's shaky-cam filming, you can't make anything out, and they all look the same. Prime was the closest, and even Bay made him look silly with those gaudy flames and the mouth moving. When the faceplate was up, he was pretty decent-looking. I think people are less shocked by the second movie's designs since they are familiar with the crap from the first movie. Sort of like how I'm getting used to the prescription cough medicine I've been taking for about 2 weeks now... At first it was almost unbearable... Now, I've gotten used to it. At least the cough medicine gives me a buzz. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 02-16-2009 at 01:49 AM.. |

I want every one of the figures from the Cobra pack and I am so glad to see that Dr. Mindbender FINALLY made it as a figure.
Joe pack....eh...all of them are good, but the one I like the most is actually Chuckles. I will be getting one of the Joe set and two of the cobra set IF they don't sell out too quick. =/

Man...all I want is Zap, so I can have my original 13 Joes! I can care less about the other six. I had to go thru hell and high water to get a Grandslam...I don't want to do that AGAIN for Zap!
Damn it.

^^^ No doubt! As a matter of fact, I'll buy them off of you. I'm not that interested in Zap. Never was an original 13 guy.
