Cool beans. What's up with CC's hands? No gloves? He's might get chapped knuckles flying that Trubble Bubble.

I've noticed a lot of suspiciously molded pieces in Kre-O sets before, like a certain Transformers headgear piece looking like Hound's head, or the Beast Blade Optimus Prime Kre-On's sword looking like a small-scale Grimlock sword. I think pieces in their parts-bank might outrun the intended sets sometimes.

The card art for the original CC was glove-less...
The platform looks alright, too bad the front looks like the vintage toy, but the back doesn't. How much leeway do these sets allow you to customize? Would you be able to configure it like the vintage platform? I kinda like the little figures, but I've never been into Lego type stuff when I was a kid, so it's an easy pass. Forgive me for saying this, but these are definitely for the kiddies. |

I added the grey gun barrel end and clipped it to the bottom front of the trouble bubble and it looks like a heavy gun on the bottom, also the red clip gun that was there can clip to the thin piece on the white gun, looks large but kind of cool

I was going to Toys R Us to get my quarterly toy fix on, and I was thinking of buying some Micro Force Joes because I saw a friend had some and I was like those are pretty cool I suppose, maybe give me something to buy, maybe buy a snake eyes and stormshadows and be done with them. But on the way to the action figures isle I passed by the Legos and on the end cap was a huge display for this Kre-o GI Joes. I was like damn what the hell is this, I tend to fall out of the loop at times, didn't know these lego joes were being produced. These are pretty bad ass! Instead of buying Micro Force, I ended up getting the Ninja Temple Battle, but now that I'm at home and my temple is built I want more...Bastards! Think I'll be getting the Check Point next if I can find it!

I updated my TTBP last night. Still mainly 2x sets but I dug through my box of pieces. I used a lot of light gray probably from Prime or Megatron as well as parts from a Devastator set.
The winch is still a WIP, I am hoping to get another Devastator set on the cheap for Hightower's winch assembly (and the differently colored Devastator) I have a Custom of Chuckles in body armor, Deep Six in overalls and Lowlight shown too. In the appreciation thread I will post my USS Jane and my OG (7 of the 13 done so far). |
