Snake Eyes is "dead" in the IDW verse. No body was seen so he's probably very much alive - but the Joe team believes him to be dead. Also, there is a small - very small possibility that when he shows up again it will be someone else under the mask at least for a while. |

I had no interest in this before reading this, and this did nothing to change my mind.

Does it matter if people date other people? Seems like that should be fairly minor. Other than Clark Kent and Lois and Peter Parker and MJ is there really a comic book couple that needs to stay together to indicate good stories? Ironically both of those super couples are not currently together! Clark is dating Wonder Woman and MJ is dating Doc Ock sorta kinda.
I know Shipwreck and CG have been together, but when did that become a must for the Joe universe? I can't speak on what went on with Duke and CG in this, but I really think the Scarlett Mainframe thing was done pretty well by Dixon. Done well??? Scarlett and Mainframe had very little contact with each other, they share nothing in common, there was no chemistry, he pretty much looked at her and thought, “I should hitting that”… there was no real believable buildup to it at all, it just came across like as fan fiction were the writer wants the geek (based on himself… maybe) to get the girl. Thank god Larry Hama doesn’t do any of this teen soap opera nonsense. |

how they got together. They do have this "both being members of an elite anti terrorist unit" thing in common. |

Uh...no...you are a little off there. You might not have liked it which is cool, but there was build up over several issues. It culminated with him risking everything to rescue her. She sorta liked the saving her life thing and that's
how they got together. They do have this "both being members of an elite anti terrorist unit" thing in common.
