I'm going to try not to get too excited about this but it is hard not to. Given that the Skystriker was $35 MSRP, a $43 Tomahawk is possible. I'm pretty sure the Tomahawk tooling was lost long ago so they could have created a new one that fit 25th figures. It's just possible. But again, trying not to get too excited because if it ends up being some other lame as vehicle that looks nothing like the original Tomahawk, it will suck.

It's probably not meant to work with normal figures, whatever it is.
I'm not sure I'd buy a re-issued Tomahawk. I loved that thing, but I remember the rotor blades popping off one by one and it's hard to imagine modern figures being able to work with it. It would take totally new tooling to get me on board and I don't think that's likely. |

I'm betting that come this time next week, there are going to be a whole bunch of REALLY PISSED OFF PEOPLE here on the 'Tank.
Because I'm betting (like some others here) that this Tomahawk isn't designed to work with 3.75" figures. I'm betting "special ops" is a line of mini-figures ala Halo Micro Ops. But I would hasten to add there IS a chance they could make a vehicle that's compatible with both standard figures and mini-figures, with a bit of clever engineering. We shall see..... |

This may actually be the best policy. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Kwinn show up in Wm's computer?

I don't have mine anymore but is there room to drop the floor of the cargo hold so figs can sit with their knees bent? Then they could use a reversed engineered mold if the molds were destroyed.

In all truth...I could easily see myself getting into "GI Joe Micro Ops", especially of the "vehicles" listing turns into "vehicle sets". And the line maintains a realistic style for the figures. Ideally, "green army men GI Joe" like 2.5 Sigma Six was supposed to be but without the scatterbrained play pattern the Sigma line saw. Such a line might signal the end of Micro Force though...
