The Moto Viper looks like it's pretty cool.

They look just fine to me, the jeep's a little small but that doesn't really bother me much.

I am quickly going to "right click & save" as I'm not sure whether ToyFare will have Channing's people pull these or not.
I will say I think the figures here look better than expected, I really like how they upped the detail in the camo. |

I said this in the thread that was obviously black holed.
I find it funny that Hasbro keeps trying to sell this line to us by touting that it has the same construction as the 25th line and will fit in your collection. The figures I have seen so far fit in to my collection about as much as a Neo-Nazi at a Gay Pride Festival. Being built the same does not mean you fit in.

I like the Scarab! It'll be an Alley Viper vehicle in my Joe-verse. Can't see too much of the Motor-Viper but that's all right...I wonder if he's actually in the film or just the first of the not-in-movie-but-in-toyline stuff.

Is the Scarab just a repaint of the GI Joe Mudbuster? The front ends look very similar but I just got a quick look at the Toyfare image.

I got a chance to read the article at Barnes and Noble recently. What was disappointing to hear, was that the movie was still being written while production and design work was under way. With that said, some things like the Cobra base which was mentioned, was canned. There was also a conflict of interest between the movie designers and Hasbro, Hasbro was suggested to take part in the designwork at one point, but the designers feel that Hasbro was obviously going for stuff that could translate directly into toys(the article did not state this in these words this is just my summary of it).
In a sense, it feels like this movie might be a compromise on both sides. The way the costume designer dodged the questions didn't sound too good. Also the corporate-esque answers to ToyFare's questions about the 25th/modern era line are so vague. They say that we will get some of the vehicles listed in polls that were on the various joesites, stuff from the 80's that we want. Truth is, in a way I think that's false hope. I don't think we will get anything big before the movie. Maybe the classic stuff already mentioned in the q/a's, but that's about it. They mentioned releasing some classic vehicles in Resolute style. I don't know what to expect with regards to that. Hasbro already said no helicopters before the movie. That rules out the Mamba, Tomahawk, Dragonfly, Retaliator(though no one really mentioned this one, but it's a helicopter so...), et al. Most of us here want the Mamba and Tomahawk. Basically, most of the vehicles that we want from the 80's ARE the bigger vehicles! I'm talking WHALE, Rolling Thunder, Phantom X-19, Crusader Shuttle(hey if not the bad ass Defiant, at least the Shuttle!), & many more. Basically the article didn't give us much information that we didn't already know.
