Thank goodness for a full wave with proper articulation. It's because they reused old parts, but I'm still happy anyway.
I will buy the hell out of those AVs and black ninjas!

I am happy with the alley viper especially now that I see the web gear they decided to use on him. I will have to add grey accents to it to make it pop out a bit more. All in all I think it will blend nicely with the POC ones. It is kind of a middle ground between the POC and the ungodly 25th color scheme.

hmm... wonder if i can think of a good helmet fo that Lady Jaye I might get a few of her as my generic female joe trooper...
I like the Cyber Ninja viper mine just wouldnt have his swords with him and a few would accompany POC Firefly. Others are fine but I will pass on the Dark Ninja figure.

Not so good, these figures are.

Anywho...I thought I'd be excited for COlton, but...eh. It's looking like the 3 pack FF will be enough for me, until wave 4. Kind of a relief, actually.

I wish they would have used the Whirlwind kick SS head for the Black Ninjas that they showed initially at the Toy Show last year.
These listings are great deals due to the free shipping!!! (That last line was sarcasm)

Looking at the Joe Colton, I dont understand why you would pay $38 bucks for a figure you can make from a Bull Torso and Tunnel Rat legs. Pretty sure Ive seen that head on one of the casters sites as well.
Now I pay $5 for Bull loose, $5 for TR, maybe $5 for the head. A little paint and some fodder and voila .... Joe Colton and its mine.

They should sneak in a few of those movie-relevant Concept Vault figures into a few more packs, the way they did with the classic Firefly (i.e. the REAL Ultimate FF) in the Cobra Invasion pack. Maybe L Jaye, Flint, Cobra Commander. Although, I suppose classic FF's design is reasonably close to his movie design...whereas L Jaye's and FLint's, not so much. Perhaps FF was a special exception.
"Masked guys" like Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, and even Firefly offer some "wiggle room" in their visual representation That said, if the film does well, it would certainly raise the profile of the character enough that I think the "Classic" updates for Flint and LJ would be prime selections to fill out a non-movie GI Joe line.
