why would Hasbro even bother with 12" figures when Sideshow is blowing them away with their Joe line...Why would anyone even look Hasbro's way

oh that's right,Hasbro is catering to the cheap bastards who whine that they can't afford Sideshow.

Who says the trademarks are for the 12'' inch line? (Of course, they could be) GI Joe's 50th anniversary is coming up in about 13 months. Maybe they plan on 4'' versions of their first Joes?

I meant that one; The Hasbro 12 Inch Line. Not to be confused with the Sideshow line.

If they do them as well as they did the 30th and 40th anniversary stuff I'll definitely be one of the "too cheap for Sideshow figures" buying them lol. As long as they actually hit retail like the 30th ones did in 1994. Those sets were really well done other then the HOF bodies. A ME set of the originals would be cool to. I always regret not getting the 3 and 3/4 Action Soldiers, Pilots, Marines, and Sailors back then.

Sorry, my post wasn't clear. It doesn't say anywhere on the trademark request that these names are for 12'' figures. We are only assuming that these will be used for 12'' figures. But, Hasbro could be making 4'' versions of the Action Soldier, etc.

Good call.

I based my speculation on that fact that those figures were originally 12" and we saw from last year that Hasbro is into reproducing old Joes as a 12" line.

We'll just have to wait and see then. Happy to see at least there are new Trademark Applications. It's been a while.
