I will probably wait 'til more photos surface before pronouncing judgment.
Right now I'm pleased with them. I think they'll make nice augmentation to my IG army. |

Man...not 100% sold on the movie yet (waiting to see some actual content before jumping one way or the other unlike most folks out there), but the toys look good, and I actually REALLY like those head shots. A lot cooler than I thought they would be. Excellent.

I have a feeling the red masked troopers probably arn't in the movie. I think this is something like when they repaint movie transformers with g1 paint schemes. This is a set colored in a more classic way.

This definately looks like the European release box. I wonder if Hasbro is going to save money & release this box in the U.S. too?

I'm not sad really that a lot of people don't like these.
The movie will bring new fans that will eat these up and if a lot of people here don't get them there will be a better chance for me to find them at retail. Who am I kidding? To me these are what the IG looked like before they evolved into what we have now. I really like the concept. I will pre-order at least 2 and hope to find at least 2 at retail.
