The stories on G.I.joe has gotten waaaay better, and i have to say that i have been enyoing a lot Snake eyes and of course Cobra, wich is still the best of the three. the art is always an issue but the stories are really good. i only have a complain about this issue (wich is always a problem) the characters HAVE to look like their counterparts in ARAH, not in uniform, but at least phsycally, if not Cutter (for example) looks like every other coast guard. besides that i really like what IDW has been doing so far.

My thoughts on the preview:
*Thank god they got rid of the previous artist. Massive trade up! They told Taylor Swift to go home and brought in Shania Twain. *I get Rachel Nichols vibes from Scarlett. Much better than the previous issues with her above waist cargo pants and oversized tees. *I really like the way Shipwreck is drawn. *The Scarlett/Mainframe romance stuff really needs to stop. It's not remotely interesting. *I wonder when Bildocker, Spreadsheet, and Copperback will be getting killed off so they can introduce Database, Wordstar, and Keypad. *sigh* *That is an awesome cover and would be a great design for a new Scarlett figure. |

I really enjoy this comic. I just started getting the back issues when I got my Kindle Fire. I'm almost caught up. Anyway I think this series is superior to Hama's current run. I find Hama's series a little too cheesy and cartoonish for me. The Dixon book seems more edgy and exciting. I like the way Cobra Commander (The new one) is portrayed. Some things I don't like. For example the Joes have been getting their ass kicked for 18 months now, how about a little light at the end of the tunnel? LOL Anyway I love the book. It rocks. I am also trying to catch up on some other comics like The Walking Dead..

I love the IDW stuff, been a fan of it since the beginning. Its slowly replacing Devils Due as favorite GI Joe run. For me personally I felt the DD stuff gave me the proper finish for the Marvel run.
