It seems like every year these things sellout hella fast. You would think they would make more considering how much money they are making off of them. They all look awesome. It's just such a shame that all their neat toy ideas have to be made in such limited quantities. I know that is kinda the point and all but still.

3 hrs huh maybe they should have made more. Maybe they should make more now and sell bagged sets. I know know exclusives, but how about bagged IG sets without voltar.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed, too. Club really should offer up more of these in bagged sets for members. I open all my stuff so no need for the fancy box.

These con sets, due to their expense, have a fairly limited audience. Depending on how well they are received the amount they can sell out into collector-space can vary, sometimes dramatically. They have done a few sets that they had extra inventory of for years after the convention. You wouldn't think that something with a production run of less than 1,000 units would linger that long in front of a world-wide community of collectors, but yet they do! When you start talking about such high price points the number of consumers able and willing to make such a purchase (within the larger collecting community) starts to get quite small. I'm willing to bet that there was some debate about the production numbers for this excellent Oktober Guard set, and that it was ultimately decided to err on the side of caution given other recent events. Maybe better to sell out than have extra in these lean times?

there is no reason they cant make more as bagged sets for all members. Absolutley no reason at all...they can wait to have more made after the con and see how well it sells, then offer up a pre-order for all members who wish to purchase a bagged set, get those orders to hasbro and a year later we all get a set too. Whats the harm in that? I would be willing to pay 100$ a year for my club subscription to have access to a club that would offer stuff like that...
