WOW $345 is so bad! I remember going to the 2005 Con and getting the Iron Granadiers for about $220 was so high! Man $125 more in only 7 years! wow

Just like your exception for AC/DC, the Joe show is my own exception. I would never pay for a VIP experience at any other show. This is the one show of the year I want to be hassle free, so even without the higher spending limit on exclusives, I'd be buying a golden ticket, just like I did last year.
Misplaced criticism there. At the show last year GT was 3, regular 1 each. Without golden ticker holders it would have been 2 each per normal every other year. Even more exclusives would have been purchased opening night if GT wasn't in place. The better placement of criticism is that people who don't get golden ticket and who are in line only get one of each opening night instead of the normal 2. I'd be fine if they made it three each for GT and 2 each for everyone else. They're already first in line. As for pre-buying, if you do that you lose the incentive for many people to show up at the show in the first place. Plus they would have to implement a pre-order system months in advance to handle demand or risk selling out of con stock before the show even happens. They would also then have to either announce the con set and attendee exclusives much earlier than normal or sell their exclusives blind to the customer. Roshan, Respect as I met you and we're cool, but I don't think it's misplaced criticism. I'm saying this can be made better. Why would it keep those from coming to the show, again the placeholder names would be generic so you wouldn't know for SURE what the exclusive is, and you still have to show up to get it. I have a right to expect a HIGHER STANDARD for the kind of cash they are asking for, and for the fan base that makes their business possible. The Japanese have a term for continuous improvement, and this should be an improvement they should look to implement. That being said, everyone who buys one set should be able to GUARANTEE they get one of each exclusive. if they make more exclusives than the guarantee and want to sell Golden Idols I could care less, but everyone should be able to get one of each IF they buy the big money box set. |

This will be my 1st con. I am reading the brochure. Am I understanding this correctly? You can only get the OG/IG set via registering for a package? They won't be available at the general vender booths?

Couple of questions...
If I buy a Golden Ticket, when is the earliest I can go to pick up all the exclusives? If I DON'T buy a Golden Ticket, when is the earliest I can go to pick up all the exclusives? I'm not a reseller, so I'm not really feeling the Golden Ticket thing, but don't want to waste my time waiting in line if I don't buy one & there's little to no chance of getting the exclusives otherwise. Finding a set on Ebay would probably (or rather hopefully) cost less than the Golden Ticket fee + the price for each piece. |

Carded Footloose was mentioned on the main Club facebook account awhile ago. Pretty much a no-brainer after last year.
