Its a shame really. I do not know how ROC the film did over there, but it seems that Hasbro is going the way of collector only Joe figures. IE online only smaller quantities. The bitching and moaning overhere by the I already order $15 dollar a pop figs so just quit your whining guys may soon get a dose of reality. Joes produced in less quantities will put them at a higher price from online sellers because they no that there is NO chance of finding them in retail! Our friends across the pond are getting screwed! Im still wanting some 3 3/4 Harry Potter figs...never released here!
If I have stumbled across them in tru I would not have noticed, but I will take a look for you next time im there see what they have if you like?

That's gutting. I thought we'd get the film figures.
GI Joe are one of the few decent toys i could pick up in a physical shop. Maybe Hasbro flooded the shops with too many toys and they just sat there. What's been really steady in the UK is...Power Rangers! Gahhh. |

B*llocks!!
As someone mentioned i think this realy is the first major film release not to release the toys in the UK. I've been slowing down on purchasing the New Joe releases for the last year, the price + international postage was starting to get to me. The constant hunt was also taking all the fun out it. I've collected since 1982 when i picked up issue 1 of the marvel run on import, i had planned to take a few months off till the Retaliation figures hit, but i feel gutted to type this... While i still love Gi Joe as much as ever, i think i'm done as far as collecting the toy line. F*CK YOU HASBRO UK

Im verry sorry to the uk fans who will not begetting any joe but for the avengers line their is a quintjet and a heli carrier thats 3 ft long so some good news came out of that toy fair too. I just hope the community is good to each other and enough tankers from the states help out the tankers in places where there is no joe

That is not good. I think a line that is tied to a movie tend to suffer in quality. I think of it as buffet style where the company tries to get a lot of product out but the quality control suffers. Paying more for less articulation is ridiculous. Those GL figs are some of the worst articulated toys in recent memory. H has already said that the Joe multi-articulated wrist will not be standard. These are not good signs.
