I have been to the Forbidden planet in southampton a few times and they used to have the 25th Joes I got quite a few from there and they were on offer they had hall of heroes and some wave 13 I believe I got a few cobra divers which now live in the other halfs fish tank( beats the tacky ornaments you get at pet shops)
Summer last year I belive they had a shadow tracker!! I should go back quite soon maybe a week sat so I can take a look the average price is about £10 which im ok with they are marginally cheaper on ebay it would seem dependant on the figure, marvel universe costs about the same as well so its an average price somewhat pricey but about as fair as your going to get for an imported figure. Thanks to me becoming active on here ive picked up a few pointers on where I can get some fair priced joes for online so I guess at least I have some more options, but as Sector 15 says it would be nice to be able to walk into a shop and bask in the gi joey goodness of well stocked shelves. It would be nice if it was from a wave where the Joes and cobras didn't look like they were rejected from a 1970's Doctor who! I think its fair to say that any wave since 2007 would have faired a great deal better then roc, a gi joe toy line that even most of the hardcore gi joe fans didn't want all that much! What chance did it have tho? Some really great films have produced non selling crappy toys, So what was going to come out of a crappy toyline based on a less then ok film? Hey Dave I had a look at all the cool stuff I couldn't see an address!! I am sure I am blind as I couldnt see a schedule to say what shows etc for roll out roll call 3 was on what days!

The nice community spirit at the Southampton branch is if they see you checking out what Joe stock they have, they will probably reccommend you checking us out too. Quite a few Joe and Transformers collectors in the area have found us through Forbidden Planet Southampton Address for All The Cool Stuff is: 64 High Street Fordingbridge Hampshire SP6 1AX shop number 01425 650696 email [email protected] web All The Cool Stuff if you give me a bell before you come down, we do have a parking permit for customers, but it is on a 'first come first served' basis and needs to be returned afterwards to allow others to benefit, but it will give you 3 hours free parking, so just let me know if we can help All the best, Dave |

Apologies for possible duplication, but not wading through 17 pages.
1) Rather than simply being against the line full stop, maybe Hasbro Europe were given a minimum order quantity they didn't think they could move? 2) Try contacting TRU head office in your country. Maybe they'd be willing to import from the U.S or Canada? Last edited by miscreant; 01-27-2012 at 02:59 PM.. |

You can find most of the last GI-Joe releases in Paris at some collectors shop. I would recommend:
COMICS (boulevard St Germain) Sorbonne or Pantheon Tube station Luluberlu (Oberkampf tube station) they usually have quite everything from vintage till the last waves; i bought a terrordrome there and the last vipers and cobra troopers a few weeks ago. Just take the Eurostar, London/Paris takes 1.30 hours only or place orders via the internet |
