She's at Walmart looking for Wave 4. Ripcord is off to the factory in China where they made Wave 4, and Destro is producing bootleg copies of Wave 4 and selling them both Hasbro and TRU for a huge markup.

The thing that has me excited is the concept that is a sequal and a reboot at teh same time. Tehy know 100% they got ROC wrong, it wa swhat it was and they ar emoving on from...hopefully we can all move on when we see that they get this one better an dmore right then the directuion they tried to go with ROC...it slike ROC never happned, going into this ignoring all I can from the time of ROC lol...Jon Chu will forever be my hero if he makes this thing what it needs to be...he will be th eman who goes down in history as the savior of GI JOE as we know it!

Oh god no, all three Bayformers are far better than RoC individually.

Joe has always (at least in its most successful years) been VERY popcorny, and corny, and over the top to some degree (Bazooka jersey FTW!). This movie WILL be "popcorny", it will NOT be an oscar-calibre masterpiece (unless some unholy alignment of events occurs), it will be ridiculous at time with corny dialog. I think a better way to describe this upcoming film would be "more grounded". Less super scifi secret bases, accelerator suits and pulse guns, more ninjas (slightly more real than the shown accelerator suit :p ), contemporary-based vehicles, and "real" guns with bullets. I view this as a "soft reboot". No, it doesn't completely throw away what came before (obviously with the same "president Zartan"), but it will probably not go out of its way to acknowledge the prior film outside of Zartan's infiltration, CC's capture, and probably Storm Shadow's "death". I expect little to NO mention of prior Joe team members or stuff like the Baroness except in passing. Think of this as like the INcredible Hulk from 2008: it doesn't completely disavow the first from 2003, but isn't soley an origin retelling like Amazing Spider-Man will be this summer. Incredible Hulk can work both as a sequel and a reboot depending on how closely you follow it. I'm thinking the same will be true of GI Joe Retaliation.

"Less popcorny"? What GI Joe are YOU thinking about?
