Storm Shadow is Cobra's Ninja Master. He is a powerful Ninja who has adapted his martial arts skills to suit his own evil purposes. He was quickly made Cobra Commander's personal bodyguard and covert ops special assassin. This classic Cobra character is ready to settle his old score with Snake Eyes for the Live Action G.I. Joe Movie in 2009!

Hands down without any question the first person who comes to mind IMO is Jet Li. He not only would lend a key element of real combat skill with a sword, he also has that serious look on his face that Storm Shadow always seem to carry around.
If you have any Doubt about this guys skill with a sword go rent HERO! He is a perfect match for the character in every way.

I would also say Jet Li. He has the look in his eyes and the skill. If they could not get him or if he was not interested, I would say Donnie Yen would be a close second.

I really like Jet li.
Here is a guy that makes bad ass hong Kong films and is still relatively unknown in America. Donnie Yen. He was Snow in Blade 2. Picture link... http://www.hrdina.wz.cz/premiera%208-17-2004%204.jpg

Jet Li is the man, every movie he ever made i like...but i think he's to short and to old.
Ernie Reyes Jr. or Tony Jaa (but they aren't much taller) Donnie Yen would be perfect i think. |
