Watanabe Ken. His serious demeanor and his reserved expression lend well to a character trying to regain his armor yet deal with his own insecurities. You need a character who can show that he is holding back a lot of anger and jealousy, yet retain a sense of honor.
Ernie Reyes Jr. was also in Macguyver and Surf Ninjas. However, I do not think he would be fitting to Storm Shadow's character. Tony Jaa would be great as a stunt double, as an actor, he would be better as another character. Jet Li could possibly pull the role off very well. He could come off well as "wow this guy, even though he is Cobra, has something else up his sleeve and Cobra Commander and the rest don't even realize it yet". He could also highten up the tension with Destro/Baroness quickly, as he'd do well to make them suspicious of his loyalty, thats where Li's acting would come into play very well. |

Takeshi Kaneshiro is awesome. Love everything he is in but he always seems like a hero to me. What about Andy Lau...Infernal Affairs anyone?

I've always thought Mark Dacascos, though his background is a mix of many different (including Chinese & Japanese). Check his bio here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001092/bio |

since someone already mentioned Dacascos , who actually has a current TV show that might hurt his credibility (Iron Chef). I'm going to goo with actors they could probably get for a bit less money and be recognizable names or faces to kids..
Jason Chan (green samurai ranger) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1267985/ or maybe the most famous ranger of all (i'm not sure if that can be considered an insult) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0290969/ |
