Art looks great and they are clearly looking to push the subscription.
You don't like-keep your comments to yourself and talk to the club by not buying it. |

Are they going to drag out these reveals forever? Next they'll show the filecard. Then a week later a picture of the entire Back of the card. Then in January pictures of the figures on card. Then a picture of the figure in a shipping box. Then a picture of money so you can try guessing the price. Then a picture of a closed 2012 calendar so you can guess the release date.

they all look amateurish at best. as someone else pointed out, they look penciled, which contributes greatly to the overall cheap feel of them. of course, being an opener, the card art will not affect my decision whether or not to join the club and get the figures. i made up my mind based solely on the figures. |

Now that doesn't bother me...half of the ME Joes have the white border. The Jinx art from the other thread looks good.....I imagine they'll use classic art or Sparta art for Covergirl, Grunt and some of the others.....those are the only ones I'll keep carded anyway.
All I'm saying is that if I don't like the card art I'm less apt to buy two. That is all...I'm getting the sub for 8 of the figures I want!

These cards are bad. Quarrel has a tiny head, def needs to be mirrored cuz the layout is horrible, her torso is like a giraffe, and her left foot is huge!!
The nano bat is so underwelming that i wont even comment... |

If there was no difference, I wouldn't have mentioned it. I dont want to have to visit facebook or myspace, or Twitter or any other cheesy social networking site to view a company's product. Some people think its perfectly fine, I think it's tacky. Just my opinion.
It makes more sense to put all of the images in one place rather than make us go to other sites. If they want to use Facebook and twitter as tools to promote their official website, then all they have to do is post ads on their Facebook page that say, "hey check out our official site". But doing it this way, they are using their official site as a tool to direct people to Facebook and twitter. Are they trying to promote Facebook and twitter now? are they getting paid by Facebook to generate hits? |

The card art is not going to sell the sub...if you saw the carded Dialtones...they clearly are just not that good yet at making card art...it's a flaw they have to overcome. But people sitting here complaining about it (you know who you are and are trying to be the know-it-all-authority)...bad card really going to stop you (or others from buying? I seriously doubt it.

Correct! And having said that, shouldn't you be working on that Card art book? |
