They should just donate these to Toys 4 Tot's. I know some collectors like these, but to me they are crap.

I don't make it to Ross often, but everytime I do I see them for $7-8 bucks also. Ross still had alot of them. I army built them a few years about when target.com had them real cheap. I think they averaged like $1.5 or so per fig. Three figs for $1, can't beat that. Except for maybe the shipping. You do have to re-equip them, I don't like that huge handled silver gun either. I'm curious if GIJoe 2 will have the accordian blaster guns. I'm probably okay without them....

That is a crazy good deal for three action figures- well, except these, which still are not worth the money.

I must admit that I don't understand the venom leveled at these troops. I like to think of them as what we SHOULD have had for Cobra troops in ROC. I've looked at them as the "realistic" take on the traditional Cobra "blueshirt" trooper. Yes, the weapons they are packed with suck (since the intended figures cannot hold them), but my extra gear box has plenty of guns to go around.

Done deal, not a fan of ROC but I always kinda dug these.
For less than 9 bucks total I may have my 1st figures I'm ready to start customizing. |

I really don't understand the hate for these figures. They have that commando style sweater which makes their customizing potential invaluable. And the figures themselves with no helmets and new weapons look great anyway. I use them as Headman's Headhunters.
