Just noticed something...this is not "new" artwork. This is actually just an altered copy of the Resolute Scarlett art, observe:

Not doubting them (or am I) but I find it VERY hard to belive that Tan Grunt, Barrel Roll and Surefire were top picks on questionaires and club forums.......
I can only think of a few people (and I don't care for their opinion anyway) that would have wanted and asked for them. I have a hard time accepting that there was THAT much love for them. |

Q: Why don't I see my favorite G.I. Joe figure in the FSS offerings?
A: Individual collector interest is varied over many decades of G.I. Joe. We chose the most requested figures that represented the different eras of G.I. Joe and club member interest. The FSS offers a variety of figures that otherwise are not planned to be sold at reatil or appear in a future convention set. Tan Grunt would easily have been in my top 12 though. I have no excuses for Sure Fire. |

Well, for certain ones like Iron Klaw and Surefire I would imagine they'll have to create some original art. Others though, like Nano BAT I assume will probably be like this to save money.

If he had a better homage to his original glider I would be right there with you in this. I would have prefered the card art showing him on the vintage glider and just plain Tan Grunt in the bubble...that would be totally worth it...but that stupid Resolute flying squirl snake eyes back pack is a waste of plastic and could be melted down and used to make a 14th FSS Character and its gonna look wonky card art wise if they try to photoshop one onto him lol...

grasping that posts have no relevance to the topic at hand has nothing to do with being a mod, otherwise specific topics would be meaningless and there would only need to be one giant thread for conversations.
next time think before trying to be snide or witty, you might think better about it. |
