I'm not collecting every issue, but I'm definitely getting the G.I. Joe and TF issues. Looking forward to those ones.

The thing I liked about the Infesation event was that it wasn't continuity. Mike Raicht did a great job with Joe, making the "zombies" into BATs, so it could fit into continuity.
It's not technically the first D&D book though. There have already been 3 IDW D&D books. Dungeons & Dragons (ongoing and a great book), Legend Of Drizzt and Dark Sun. If I remember right, the Infestation is the first book in a new D&D universe, so in that regards it is the first book introduced in that universe, but not the first D&D book introduced.

I haven't listened to the conference yet, so don't know for sure, but if it follows the format of Infestation I, you won't actually see the properties interacting with eachother.
I enjoyed Infestation I for just that reason. Sorry, I have no desire to see two properties that have nothing in common (G.I. Joe and Star Trek for example) somehow find a way to work side by side. Not interested. Infestation I, the zombies appeared in the different universes and we got to see how the different properties dealt with the same threat. That worked out so much better I thought.
