CODE NAME: Sky B.A.T. (BATTLE ATTACK TROOPER) Specialty: Extreme Combat HISTORY COBRA Sky B.A.T. troops convert to different modes for multiple attack capabilities. Smart technology gives them the ability to automatically make the conversions themselves. Verticle Assault Packs attach to their backs and interface with their central processors to achieve complex aerial maneuvers. Armed with concussion bombs stored on their wings, they can launch devastating attacks from the air. In ground assault mode, their arms convert to powerful grenade launchers. With the addition of ionic gas cannisters, they can enhance their strength and move at accelerated speed. To combat this robotic force, the Sigma 6 team has developed specialized weapons designed to disable computerized systems. EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS Interchangable weapon enhancements: * Verticle Assault Pack: high altitude glider * Ionic gas cannisters: increase strength and speed * Grenade launchers: fire high impact projectiles Appearance: The Sky B.A.T. is mostly a Solid Light Blue with Dark Blue at points of articulation. It sticks out on the pegs and is going to have a good kid eye candy effect. This figure has a lot of unique features for a Sigma 6 Mold. Its clear to see out of the package the Upper Body is Connected by a Ball And Joint system that makes for a nice robotic backbone look. The backpack is connected with 3 pegs that hold the jet pack and wings on firmly. The Sky B.A.T. is very show accurate, he looks like Hasbro pulled this toy right out of the TV screen. I can't say im a huge fan of the Bright Blue but I can see how the Kids would go for this figure sitting on the peg at the local toy spot. Articulation: Unlike most G.I. Joe Sigma 6 figures this is a new mold. It has the same amount of articulation you would expect from a Sigma 6 figure, but the poor use of a good design is restricted by bad placement of the ball joint that holds the upper half of the toy. The ball joint itself is pushed to far into the socket to allow the body to freely bend. In addition to the usual goodies like a turning head, he has a good amount of arm and leg articulation. Weapons and Gimmicks: The Sky B.A.T. comes with arm mounted twin barrel assult rifle with gernade launcher. It also has missles that drop of like bombs when you push down on the tabs. The Gernade Launcher has a nice spring so it fires pretty far and is a nice feature of the main weapon. Overall: This is a good figure for Army Building at a good price point for the size of the Sigma 6 Sky B.A.T. Cobra. If you do not want to Army Build you still need to pick up one for your collection and check him out for yourself but overall the Sky B.A.T. gets a 6 out of 10 in my book. The sky B.A.T. is by far one of the coolest Joe toys ever made regardless of size. Granted, I would've LOVED to see one in 3.75" scale, but this one rocks just as hard!

Yeah...it is very impressive.
Though I also would love to see one in 3.75" scale.
