I believe Hasbro takes a pool of questions from the various Joe/toy online forums and picks a couple from each site to answer.
Since they pick the question, it stands to reason they should answer it. Otherwise, pick another question they do want to answer instead of wasting the space. This is absolutely reprehensible. These questions are heavily censored anyway. Hasbro stipulates what you can and cannot ask to compound things so by them not answering is nothing short of slapping fans in the face.

But you're so right, Hasbro should just cease communicating with or giving fans any information whatsoever. After all, if they aren't willing to meet our every single demand for information with EXACTLY the answers we want to hear, they're just "slapping fans in the face."[/sarcasm] News flash: These Q&As aren't something Hasbro HAS to do at all. That they give us any information whatsoever is, quite frankly, a nice gesture from them to us that they are under no obligation whatsoever to provide. As I not-so-politely pointed out before: If you don't like the Q&As, then don't freaking read them. Meanwhile, the rest of us will take what we can get from this no-cost-to-us, no-skin-off-our-teeth line of communication (however narrow) with Hasbro. Seriously, you Q&A bitchers are downright moronic. You're getting something for nothing and then whining about it. No wonder Joe fans have the reputation of being impossible to please and ungrateful when Hasbro even tries. |

No, the moderators from the sites themselves (usually) choose which questions get asked.

No need to go on a ragequit attack everytime you disagree with stuff you dont agree with sheesh. And yes they can just stop it entirely if the answers are going to be "no answer" wtf is up with that? if the mods pick the questions then they deserve answers. Or quit doing them it is that simple.

I like the one question from the Fighting 118th which isn't even a question. It was a statement like, "You made some figures like these." No question involved. Of course, they're not gonna give it a response.
Joe fans should feel lucky Hasbro does these Q&As, the Marvel ones have been "postponed indefinitely," which probably means they're done. BTW, I thought this round of Joe Q&As had some better-than-average questions and answers. Any technical questions seem to garner the best answers. I still would like to know what month the movie product is expected to launch. I supposed May some time, even though it's technically spring. Merch has to be out before the actual movie release which is June. |

You can get detailed answers out of Hasbro for the GI Joe q&a, but when questions within the constraints given are given an answer that answers nothing that was asked, it leaves fans frustrated. This doesn't happen each time but it has happened before. On the brightside, even though next year is dedicated to GI joe 2, the line won't feel completely like a movie line. We'll see, stay tuned. |
