I admit that I panicked when the ultimately false story broke about Hasbro running out of Doc figures. Since they announced the second run of Doc figures (v2.0?) I was anxiously waiting to see if my payment would clear.

I checked my bank account this morning and saw that payment sent on July 10 has cleared (on August 6), which is just shy of a month. I will report back in this thread once any other news worthy items arise.

Please feel free to post any items of interest for those of us who sent payment at the tail end of the initial Doc promotion (right before the "news" broke) or those of us who just recently sent payment once Hasbro assured a second run.

The only question that remains is what the Doc figure will look like-- Will it be on a 25th anniversary card back or on the new white card back? I don't care much about this matter but I know that there are interested parties on this board. I will post my findings once I receive the Doc figures I ordered.

Please remember to call Hasbro Customer Service at 1-800-327-8264 to follow up on your Doc orders!

there is another thread on here with a pic of the new DOCs. they arent the 25th logos anymore.

They still look good though

I was under the impression that the pic was a fake since the card looked like a hybrid 25th logo card with Photoshopped white borders (but the area behind the figure was still silver). I thought the new cards have yellow behind the figures...? Was it legit?

hmm, i dunno. i just took a quick glance at it. Shoot i didnt even think about it being photo shopped. bummer

Personally, I like the cartoon/comic logo with the white trim. Looks and feel so much like the 80's.

My check cleared on the 6th as well. I wonder when we will get them. I send my check back in June. I hope we get them before the summers over.

I agree that it matters not what type card it comes on...as long as I get mine that I earned!

Hasbro stated in one of the new Q&A's that the 2nd run of Doc would have the foil logos, just like previously.

wow, mine from 6/2 cleared on 8/6 as well. sweet.

Mine was sent 7/16 and cleared on 8/6 as well. Wonder if this is a good sign that the new shipment of Docs has arrived? Either that or they only open their mail once a month.
