Thanks to Darkside Collectibles AKA Wangbaobao for showing off his massive G.I. Joe collection. This is one of the biggest collection I have ever seen. Filled with custom play sets, bases and is well worth checking out the Images.

Good God.
I would never talk down about another collector, and hey, do whatever you want with your own money. But when I see a collection like this I can understand why people think collectors are wasting their money and their lives. How much time and effort and money went into that? Note: this might be a small spot of envy speaking. I have a painful wish that I'd taken better care of all my Joe vehicles as a kid and still had all the pieces- missiles, guns, windshields, etc.

Guys, you have to realize something.
It looks as though this guy has a somewhat successful store. If that is the case, and he has a good cashflow, it would be easy to get enough moolah to amass such a collection in a short amount of time. Even so, that is the most ridiculous (in a good way) collection I have ever seen. |
