[sarcasm]This such awesome news!!1![/sarcasm]
Big deal. He's going to be an extra. Even if he has a speaking part, and the scene he's in actually makes it into the final cut of the movie, he's still just an extra. Most of the background "actors" in costume in the Star Wars movies were crew members and shit like that. I wonder if they front paged the story of the caterer's assistant, who was in costume, and walked behind Obi Wan in that one scene on all the big Star Wars sites. |

Most of the background "actors" in costume in the Star Wars movies were crew members and shit like that. I wonder if they front paged the story of the caterer's assistant, who was in costume, and walked behind Obi Wan in that one scene on all the big Star Wars sites. For instance, "They're filming in a NASA facility, does this mean we're gonna see Star Brigade?" or "Will he play a familiar drill instructor?" It's like if during the filming of ROC you'd posted the news of Larry Hama's cameo and said, "Will he be playing Joseph Colton?" These statements to me seem unnecessary and exist only to fuel a fire that doesn't necessarily need to be stoked. If one is posting news...stick to the facts and leave the speculation for the discussion thread that follows. It creates pointless rumormongering otherwise. I'll say this: He likely won't be playing anyone "familiar" and if he is it'll be uncredited (ala "Jinx who wasn't" in RoC) so that if they want to use the character in a bigger role later with a different actor they can. Likely he'll be a random soldier/joe that doesn't get named and doesn't have a speaking role. I don't want him to be Beachhead, Leatherneck, or Gung-Ho, because if those characters are used, I want them to be developed and actually used...not just cameos. He's the guy that's been running the "boot camp" for the folks starring in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, basically.
I guess he's a big name in the fitness training industry...he's done quite a bit of work for Hollywood. |

It does seem like some people think there shouldn't be anything on the front page at times.
