That happened to me too at Target last weekend. I was about 20 yards behind a guy I just KNEW was headed for the action figure aisle. Sure enough, he turned right down the aisle...and stopped at the transformers.I blew by him and found a peg full of wave 2.
I think he turned into a 25th convert, though, because he saw me pick up what I wanted, stepped over, and once he saw the SE and SS i left behind exclaimed, "dude, those look just like what I had when I was a kid!" He grabbed them up right away like he had found treasure. |

of course, im at work and cant get to a store. I just ordered Beachhead and Serpentor from Ebay because I was tired of waiting and missed the launch day. Everything was gone the next day except one Lady Jaye and Buzzer. Fingers crossed that one of my stores has them tonight!

To follow up, they stock mostly after hours, and what they don't finish up the AM crew takes care of when doors open.
You can always ask one of the employees if they have any more shipments in the back. I believe all they have to do is scan a number with their gun and they instantly know if anything else is in the back not yet on the shelves and will generally be nice enough to go get it for you (unless explicitly told not to, i.e., Halo 3). |

I wish i were that fortunate, i can't wait for the day to see the figures stacked on each peg like the SW figures (minus the HTF chase figures).

All my casual collector friends would be picking up these joes if they were on the shelf (nostalgia and all that). But they're not going to run through hoops like I am doing to get them.
I'm a big comic book fan and I'm only recently starting to read some of the new joe stuff. And I haven't seen anything like that. |

Well I picked up a Firefly (Wave 3) and a Cobra Officer (Wave 1) today at one of my local Targets. I left Storm Shadow and two Snake Eyes. Everywhere else had nothing except Wal-Mart, they had a Cobra Commander and two Snake Eyes.

Made my early morning run to Wal-Mart today, as well as Target when it opened. Still no sign of wave 3. I did open several of the Legions packs that I picked up on wednesday. The new troops all looked good lined up together.
