I checked the planogram sheets at a Walmart near my work (Indian Trail, NC) and it had 4 pegs for figures and shelf space on the top shelf for a medium sized vehicle + 2 spaces for 12 in. figures on the bottom shelf.
This store was already carrying the POC line so I'm not surprised to see the Joes were carried over. Now only if the Walmart by my house uses this same layout I'll be a happy camper.

Yeah, Walmart's big "rollback" ad campaign ends tomorrow (the one where they spout off about their "newly reduced prices"). As usual, YMMV as to when the new mods will actually end up set.
Mine has been NOTORIOUS for poor toy management, and the mods end up being set about a week AFTER they were due. From what you guys are saying, it seems Walmart is actually putting some effort into toys this Christmas (even accounting seasonal flex, last year's action figure section was one of the smallest I had ever seen at my store). They did actually a couple of Marvel Master Works Sentinel. But I was shocked they wanted $5 more than TRU! I can't believe TRU is now cheaper than WM! |

Dodge City Walmart has those shelf sheets up on the isles which indicate where to rearrange everything. G.I.Joe is not on the sheets. Sucks man. It really does suck because that means I have to use ebay and pay scalper pricing. Sucks. Hasbro, your crappy RoC movie and the equally crappy RoC figures have had a lingering negative effect here in Dodge. Those figures stood fermenting on the shelves for over a year. No one would buy that overstocked first wave bunk. Now Walmart will not carry anything good that you are actually making. It sucks. Thank you very little.

i saw the sheets at a few of the walmarts..some had joes(seems the most were super walmarts) and some had none...although I did see Thundercats on everyone, they are getting a full 4' section and then some of the joe shelf at a couple walmarts.
I wonder if we did that email stock complaint to get walmart to carry the striker, will they? |

HOWEVER, it may well end up a "limited availability" deal, over the past few years, my store did NOT allocate space for the large scale Star Wars offerings. Instead, the store was basically given a "feature" where they dedicated an end cap for the large vehicles, and only got one or two shipments. Wouldn't surprise me if the Skystriker didn't start to show up in October, and not on the regular aisle at all. (Again, YMMV with Walmart)

well every walmart i been going to has only meditoys (iron man 2 cap aemric, green lantern, bakugan, reddekai, ben 10 , tf dotm,) and nothing else. it almost seems as if fail mart is SHRINKING their toy isles ot onyl what media movie/tv shows are on the top five or something. No joes, no mu, no dcuc, its all just movie and cartoon toys. sad since i been tryin to dig up some of the new MU figs.

Some minor flex changes, but basically the only addition was Reddekai (which I'm almost certain got sold solely on the merits of "ya remember Bakugan? This is the next big thing!). No GI Joe, no Marvel Universe, no DC Universe (at all, not even YOung Justice), not even any Thundercats (which surprises me given TCats have gotten as much if not more promotion than I've seen for Redakai) Guess Walmart really doesn't want my money (even Transformers Generations and STar WArs Vintage are horrendously bogged down with stock from last spring)
