For the most part Hasbro has done a pretty good job. I just hope Blowtorch isn't a major disappointment like the Major Bludd, Steeler and Short-Fuze figures have ended up being. I'll raise my glass of SoCo and hope with you, Deckard.

I wonder if along with 3 more waves in 09 we're gonna have more comic packs, exclusive sets, DVD sets, and vehicles. I would guess that would cover all the major characters we're missing like Recondo, Blowtorch, Ripcord, Cover Girl, Zarana & Zandar, and a bunch others.

Is it possible they cancelled the Mauler as a con exclusive last year because they were gonna make it in the Modern line? (I forgot why they said they did) And I would hope that they would make a WHALE as one of the new vehicles.

Then I could retire from the Modern Era line with a smile on my face.

I do hope they stick with classic characters for the remainder. I hope they don't "waste" spots on "new" characters like MASK. I liked MASK as a kid, but I'd rather have classic Joes when I'm buying Joes.

thats exactly what i say. they would be dumb to pull the plug, back in 82 this was the hottest toy to ever drop. an 2007 an 8 it is the hottest again. same fans jus grown up now. hasbro was amazed to what they raked in, you think they gonna stop . they got somethin up the sleeve. but i dont know how much more i can do this though they got me good wit this damn pce of plastic , my financial plans are out the window since i found out they were out. i sit there an contemplate on spendin money on needs, an lol jump when i hear somethin news out an spend so much in a blink of a eye an not care. thank god im single , if i was married i would jus be a pist 30 yr old that wasnt allowed to collect em, but alot richer!

Hasbro has hinted that Modern Era Joe would continue thru exclusives & other means as a way to keep the 07-08-09 Fans happy while the Movie merch is in full force. I for one am looking forward to what these might be, as well as the "Resolute" line the most...

I agree with the comment about MASK characters. Please stick to just Joes. There are so many we still havent seen yet.

Those Classic/Modern Era/25th Exclusives are the means that will keep this fan buying anything.

Amen to that. I just want a Whale (like everyone else). BTW, did we hear if there will be resolute figs? And if so, will they be in scale with the 25th line? WOW, lot of questions, lol.
