that Lift Ticket is phenomenal, and I don't care what anyone says, Mainframe's head sculpt is perfect.
having Beach Head's face partially covered is stupid. just do a unmasked version, his face being covered was just a design decision not a character trait in which he is hiding his face. |

Hey all. Joined up here on HissTank just to share in the excitement of SDCC news. Had to find other Joe heads that would understand when I say...
Airborne!! For no reason I could ever fathom, I always really liked that character. One of my favourites, actually. The fig' shown at SDCC seems to be a perfect representation of him. Very excited about it. Also, who the hell is Dataframe? Did they somehow lose the rights to the name 'Mainframe?' Lift Ticket is also great. In fact, so great that I don't think I'll put him in the Skyhawk. Vehicles tend to 'hide' the figure, so my vehicle drivers will be the figures I don't care about or that look crappy. That Lift Ticket is just too good to have hidden in such a way. That's fine, soon we'll have THREE Wild Bills (massive eye roll here) to serve as pilots in various vehicles. Is it cliche' around here to end a post with 'Yo Joe!?' Probably. |

A clarification for some fans. It's 12:30 a.m. here and I've been at the con every morning for over 12 hours each day. I'm tired and cranky.
Anyway, Hasbro lied on Friday. They had not sold out of the Blue Cobra Commander. On Saturday morning, they magically appeared again. They were sold out by noon. That sucked if you didn't have a ticket to get in the Hasbro line before noon. [side note: Hasbro used a time slot ticketing system from Thursday through Sunday to space out the buyers throughout the day.] Anyway, as of Saturday night, they have not sold out of Black suited Cobra Commanders. But the new sticker over the Blue-suited Cobra Commander says, "Sold out at Show." This suggests the Blue suited CC will be offered at some point after the con, but very limited. The limit was 2 Black Suited CC and 1 Blue suited CC per attendee. This was heavily enforced through a punch system on your badge. Unless you had more than one badge, you couldn't exceed that limit. The only ones that could overcome this system were exhibitors, essentially vendors. Each exhibitor is alloted a number of badges according to their booth. Doesn't matter if those people are there or not. So, vendors kept switching out badges for fresh ones. Also, they could have them reprinted all over again by going to the badge booth. I know this because I got in the SDCC using a vendor's badge. He sells animation cells and is friends with my father-in-law. And no, he didn't buy toys at all. He just offered to switch up my and my son's badge to buy more CCs. Now before you rant against the vendors, this is a highly time consuming venture with lines running upwards of 3 hours the first couple of days and the time involved in reprinting badges. Anyway, good luck guys. Gaelinic

I'll never be desperate enough for an SDCC Cobrta Commander. I think he's a bit... tatty. I'd certainly never want any figure just because he was 'rare' either. I have to like him first!

its a sweet figure, he's behind a potium ranting and raving. it also would of been cool to have him in a thrown instead of 2 different colors.
the second could of been him just chilling with his gat in his big cobra thrown, tell me that wouldnt be tits. |
