I was looking over the pics and noticed the cobra trooper head lying on the ground by Flint. I guess that's so you can "disguise" him. But does anyone else think it's a bit dark to have random enemy heads lying about willy nilly? I mean, if this were a Predator toy or something ok.. haha. but ... I guess after LJ got killed Flint really did get bad ass yeah? Does he take it home and mount it on one of LJ's spears and leave it outside as a message to all other troopers out there?

I love the new waves, except for Cobra Flint...why? Even love the Matt Trakker. Bring on more MASK!

Comic packs are disappointing as always. Seriously, the guns on Beachhead and Dataframe(?) are WAYYYY too big. But I love the BH heads. HATE Hardmaster and SE.

no its the cobra mechanics . thats what that head is for lol. no i think its a great idea for hasbro to put in extra heads and have them laing around .so destro what else can we expect to see????

It makes no more or less sense then Street Fighter II being incorporated into the GI Joe line in the early-90s... that way they can hit up two fanbases at the same time! yay! I am gonna go ahead and make myself wildly unpopular here --

I am so very disappointed by most all of this stuff shown tonight. The EELs and Airborne (whom I never liked before), Fang, Sky Hawk, and Moccasin (minus a poor PP Copperhead) are all sortsa terrific! Spectacular, even.
But the cp's are so underwhelming. Six Flags Will Bill? Beachheadsss?? (Data) -frame and Scrap Iron were childhood favorites, and so close to great, but the heads are horrible sculpts. The C.L.A.W. was my all time favorite small vehicle, I was so jazzed to hear it was being produced. But handle bars? No wheels?! And a swamp skier with no skis makes it look like a workout bench. No harm on Trakker, but using Annihilator's gear was so unimaginitive. And the card art for the new sculpts could have been so much better.
I am very excited for wave 10. And the Combat Heroes and Mighty Muggs, of which I have none of from other lines, look great and I will get them for sure. Comparatively, though, wave 11 is just so... lackluster. My balloon just lost some air.

I am very happy for all of you guys that are going nuts over this, though! The way I felt about the wave 10 debut is the way you guys are describing wave 11. Still hella excited for all that the 25th and Modern Era lines have brought back for us all!!

The EEL looks awesome, definitely an army builder must.

I'm also blown away by the re-designed C.L.A.W. glider it looks AMAZING. Even though it's going to be packaged with the lame FANG copter I'm going to have to pick up 10 of them.

While I could care less about Matt Trakker (even though the crossover concept I think is a cool idea) I am excited over Hasbro's choice of accessories for the figure because just maybe it means they'll release a Modern Era Annihilator figure.

Speaking of which has anyone else noticed how Hasbro seems to be broadcasting future releases by their accessory choices for some figures? The first I noticed was the bazooka for the B.A.T. in the 'Arise, Serpentor, Arise' DVD pack being uncannilly familiar to the H.E.A.T.-Viper's old rocket launcher, and now we've got the Annihilator's gyro-copter backpack and SMG with Matt Trakker?!

Yes, even wave 4 comic pack Storm Shadow had hints of the future. The new lower legs, which are a dead ringer for the v2, the backpack, minus 1 sword/holder, is close enough for an accurate v2, and now Hard Master's lower arms, can be used for a more accurate v2 Storm Shadow. Comic pack wave 6 Snake Eyes/Hard Master's scabbards/swords can be used for later versions of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, like from the DDP books.

One thing Hasbro is accually doing right here are these small vehicle re-issues. The minor re-tooling and not being made out of cheap shit plastic (I'm looking at you Masturbatory-Collector) like the 03-06 vehicle re-issues, is putting these out as the best thing they've done since the blue cobra six pack.
